Rog rapture gt-ac5300 has a killer feature called vpn fusion, which lets you run a vpn and an ordinary internet connection — simultaneously! so even if other network users need to use a vpn, you can still enjoy maximum gaming speeds. this feature will be supported with firmware update.. Is a shame for asus how does it support it's "best" router. we haven't had any fix/update since august, and when they release one we get this extremely faulty firmware. other routers like the wonderful rt-ac88u had so many updates and fixes so often, (i used to have one that i've exchanged with this gt-ac5300).. As you can see my asus rapture gt-ac5300 uptime is 18 days and counting on firmware 10397 and currently on firmware 10766 which i haven't experienced any anomaly or sort which result endless boot loop..
